Lizbeth Meredith is a multi-award-winning author, professional speaker, and college instructor whose indie memoir, Pieces of Me: Rescuing My Kidnapped Daughters, was adapted into the Lifetime TV movie Stolen By Their Father.
The author of three books, numerous essays, and a contributor to four anthologies, Lizbeth uses storytelling to help tame trauma and build resilience in both her writing and as the host of Persistence U Podcast with Lizbeth. Her story has been featured in Woman’s Day, The Feminine Collective, Alaska Magazine, and on A&E.
After spending three decades working in Alaska’s justice system with both survivors and offenders of crime—where she also became a trainer in trauma-informed care—Lizbeth now draws from both her personal and professional experiences in her workshops and presentations.
She holds a degree in journalism and a graduate degree in psychology and now lives in East Tennessee.
